What You’ll Do

An amazing place to work takes incredible people. People are the foundation of the culture, and as the Manager of Talent & Culture, your mission is to help create an awesome work experience and a best place to work environment. From recruiting to off-boarding, the Talent & Culture team must create and deliver the best possible experience for everyone that comes in contact or works at TeleVet. 

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the Talent & Culture department (marketing, recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, payroll, benefits, performance management, training, events, HR compliance, employee relations, off-boarding, etc.).
  • Collaborate and partner with Leadership to develop the strategy and tactics to deliver a best place to work experience. 
  • Participate in budget development and monitoring of expenses. 
  • Collect, report, and analyze necessary data to ensure all teams are achieving the desired results. 
  • Champion celebrations, recognition, and company-wide communications.
  • Ensure as a company we are aligning to our core values and staying true to our mission.
  • Promote community, inclusion, and diversity.

You are someone who has broad experience related to the human resource profession. You can wear many hats, you are detail-oriented and organized. You make thoughtful decisions quickly and can balance what is right for the company and the employee. You are compassionate and have high emotional intelligence. You are always learning and looking for ways to improve yourself and the people of TeleVet. You know how to have fun!

Qualifications include: 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in progressive Human Resource roles.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to set strategy and effectively execute.
  • Ability to use data and analysis to drive decision making.
  • Solid computer and technical skills related to HRIS and people systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and coaching skills.
  • Competent collaborator and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
